Why you can’t create an account yourself
You have looked for a Create account button and not found one. That is not a gap: the portal has no sign-up page by design. By the end of this article you will know where your account actually comes from and what to do if you are new to the business.
Your detailer creates your account
Your account is the customer record your detailer keeps — your name, email and phone, the vehicles they have serviced, the bookings and invoices between you. They create it when they take you on, usually at your first booking or quote, and from that moment the portal recognizes you.
So there is nothing to sign up for. Signing in simply proves that you are the person that record belongs to: a code goes to the email on file, or a Google or Apple account with that same email vouches for you. See Sign in with a code sent to your email.
If you’re new to the business
You can open the portal and browse Services before you exist as a customer — prices, what is included, available times. But when you go to confirm a booking, the page says Please sign in to confirm your booking, and a code will not arrive for an email your detailer does not have.
To get set up, contact the business — their phone and email are at the bottom of every page — and ask them to add you. Tell them the email address you want to use: that is the address your sign-in codes will go to. Once they have added you, come back, choose Login, and sign in with a code.
Why the sign-in page won’t confirm your email
When you ask for a code, the portal says If an account exists for that email, a code is on its way. — whether or not the address is on file. That wording is deliberate. If the page answered “no account with that email”, anyone could type addresses at it to learn who is and is not a customer of the business. Keeping the answer the same protects your details as much as everyone else’s.
The cost is that a code which never arrives has to be diagnosed by you: check the spelling, check spam, try another address you use, and if nothing works, ask the business which email they have for you.
Good to know
- An old link to a sign-up or register page simply opens the sign-in page. Nothing was lost; there was never an account to create there.
- Some things reach you as a link and need no account at all: a payment request, a quote to approve, a job update. If your detailer sent it, it opens on its own.
- If you are a customer of two businesses that both use this kind of portal, you have two separate accounts, one on each portal — each business added you on its own.
