What the customer portal is
The customer portal is the website your detailer gives you. It carries their name and colours, and it is where you book a service, see what is coming up, check your vehicles, pay and manage any plan you are on. There is nothing to install: it works in the browser on your phone or computer.
Where to find it
Your detailer’s portal has its own address ending in .portal.waxstak.com. You will find the link in the emails and text messages they send you — a booking confirmation, an invoice, a quote — and often on their own website. Bookmark it once and it is always the same.
What you can do
The menu at the top of every page:
- Home — a short introduction to the business and a button to book.
- Services — the booking page: pick a service, a vehicle and a time, and confirm.
- My Bookings — everything scheduled and everything done, with the details of each visit.
- My Vehicles — the vehicles on file, so booking is a tap rather than a form.
- Your name, at the right — Your details, My plans and Logout.
Some things reach you as a link and need no sign-in at all: a payment request opens straight into paying, a quote opens straight into approving it, and a job update opens the job. If the link came from your detailer, it works on its own.
Signing in
- Open the portal and choose Sign In.
- Enter your email and choose Send code. If your email is on file, a 6-digit code arrives within a minute.
- Type the code and you are in. No password to remember.
If you prefer, sign in with Google or Apple — as long as that account uses the same email your detailer has on file.
Why you cannot create an account yourself
Your detailer adds you as a customer, and that record is what the portal recognises. If the portal says your email is not on file, contact the business and ask them to check the email they have for you. Once it matches, the sign-in code arrives.
Good to know
- You can browse Services before signing in; the portal asks you to sign in when it needs your vehicle and service address.
- The portal is available in English and Spanish.
- Questions about a booking, a price or an invoice go to the business — they are the ones who did the work and set the price. The portal itself is made by Wax Stak; if the site is not working, write to support@waxstak.com.
