My Schedule: your hours and time off

By the end of this article you’ll know where your working hours live in the app, how to read the time off on your record, and how to ask for more.

My Schedule is under the You tab — tap My Schedule (Your hours and time off). It’s about you, not about jobs: the days and times the office can book you, and the days you’ve asked to be off. For the jobs themselves, see See another day on Work.

This screen reads from the office every time it opens, so it needs signal. Without it you’ll see This needs an internet connection. Reconnect to continue. and a Retry button.

Weekly hours

The Weekly hours list shows one row per weekday with the hours the office set — 08:00–17:00 — or Off for a day you don’t work. Not set means the office hasn’t filled that day in yet. If the whole list is missing, the screen says Your weekly hours have not been set up yet. Ask your manager.

You can’t change these from the phone. They’re set in the office, and they’re what the office’s booking uses to decide when you’re free.

Time off

The Time off list is what’s on your record from today forward, soonest first. Each row shows the date, Whole day or Unavailable 13:00–17:00, the reason you gave, and where it stands: Pending until the office answers, then Approved or Denied. Past time off isn’t listed — it’s history. When there’s nothing coming up the list says No upcoming time off.

Request time off

  1. Scroll to Request time off.
  2. Pick the Date. It can’t be in the past.
  3. For more than one day, turn on More than one day. The date becomes First day and a Last day appears — Up to 31 days per request.
  4. Choose Whole day, or Part of the day and fill in Unavailable from and Until. The end has to be after the start.
  5. Add a Reason (optional) — up to 500 characters — and tap Send request.
  6. A toast confirms it: Request sent — 1 day is awaiting approval. (or however many days). The new days appear in Time off as Pending.

Send request stays grayed until the form makes sense — a past date, a range longer than 31 days, or an end time before the start all hold it back, so you can’t send a request the office would refuse on shape alone.

What happens next

The office sees the request and approves or denies it. Your row changes from Pending to the answer; there’s no notification for it, so check back. A denied request stays on the list so you know it was seen.

A range is all or nothing: the office gets one request covering every day in it, and each day shows as its own row on your phone.

Good to know

  • Requesting time off needs signal. Offline, the form is replaced by Requesting time off needs an internet connection. Reconnect to send a request. — what’s already on screen stays readable.
  • You can’t cancel or edit a request from the phone. If plans change, tell the office.
  • Approved time off doesn’t remove a job that’s already booked on that day. Check Work for the day and talk to the office if something’s still on it.
  • The weekday names and the hours are shown in your app’s language and the office’s time.
