Your profile and language
By the end of this article you will know where your own details live in the back office and how to make the app read in your language and your preferred colours.
Open your profile
Click your avatar at the top right of any page, or the card with your name at the bottom of the left menu — both open the same menu. Choose Profile.
What is on the profile page
- Avatar — click the picture (Click to change) to Use my initials or pick one under Or choose a stock avatar. The new avatar shows in the top bar and the menu right away.
- Change Password — under the avatar. See Reset your password.
- My Details — First Name, Last Name, Email, Phone, Role, Pay Type and Hourly Rate ($). Owners and admins can edit their name, phone, role and pay details here and click Save Changes; everyone else sees their details read-only, and an owner or manager changes them under Team → Employees. Email is never edited here — it is your sign-in.
- Sign-in Methods, Passkeys and Two-factor authentication — how you sign in. See Sign in with Google or Apple, Sign in with a passkey and Protect your account with two-factor authentication.
If you are the only admin, the Role field says You are the only admin. Role cannot be changed. — promote someone else first.
Switch the language
- In the top bar, click the translation button (the icon with two characters).
- Choose English or Español.
The whole back office switches at once — menus, forms, messages. The choice is yours alone — each person on your team picks their own — and it is remembered in the browser you set it in. The sign-in page has its own language button, at the top of the page, showing EN or ES.
Light or dark mode
Open the avatar menu and click Theme Mode. Each click moves to the next option — Light, Dark, then System, which follows your computer’s setting — and the line under it shows the current one.
Good to know
- Your language and theme are yours, not the business’s. Changing them affects nothing for your colleagues or your customers.
- The customer portal shows your customers in their own language, chosen on the portal — not in yours.
- The avatar menu is also where Help (this help center) and Logout live.
