What can we help you with?
Change or cancel a booking
Plans change. The portal does not have a button for moving or canceling an appointment: the business that does the work decides how to handle a change, so you ask them, and they update the booking for you. This article tells you how to reach them, what to have ready, and what you will see in the portal once it is done.
Ask the business
- Open My Bookings and find the appointment under Upcoming, so you have the date and time in front of you. View Details shows the services and the address.
- Call or email the business — their phone and email are at the bottom of every page in the portal, and on the confirmation email they sent you.
- Tell them what you need: a new day or time, a different address, a service added or dropped, or a cancellation. Give the date and time of the booking you mean, and the vehicle if you have more than one.
A change asked for in good time is easy to make; the day before, or the morning of, depends on the business — say so as early as you can.
What happens to a deposit
If you paid a deposit when you booked:
- Moving the appointment keeps it: the deposit stays with your booking and still goes toward the final bill on the new date.
- Canceling is decided by the business: nothing is refunded or kept automatically; as the booking page said when you paid, they handle deposits case by case. Ask them when you cancel, and they will tell you what they do.
See Pay a deposit when booking.
What you will see afterwards
- A moved appointment simply shows its new date and time under Upcoming. The confirmation and reminders follow the new time.
- A canceled appointment moves to Past and reads Canceled. Open View Details and, if the business wrote one, a Cancellation Reason is shown.
- If the business could not make it to a visit, the booking stays under Upcoming with a notice until they reschedule or cancel it — see When a visit couldn’t be completed.
Good to know
- Booking a new appointment does not cancel an old one. If you meant to replace it, ask the business to cancel the first.
- Reminders stop for a canceled booking. A reminder that arrives after you asked to cancel means the change has not been made yet — check with the business.
- A booking already In Progress or Completed cannot be canceled; questions about the work or the bill go to the business too.
