Choose a vehicle and a service address
The Your Details step is where a booking becomes yours: it asks which vehicle, where the technician should come, and anything they should know. This article explains what each field expects, which ones you can change yourself, and how to add an address you have not used before.
Choose the vehicle
Select Vehicle lists the vehicles your detailer has on file for you, as year make model, and picks the first one for you. Choose another if the work is for a different car.
The list is the business’s record, not something you edit here. If a vehicle is missing, contact the business and ask them to add it — their phone and email are at the bottom of every page. You can still book without one: the field simply reads No vehicles on file yet. and the appointment is made for you rather than for a specific vehicle.
The vehicle you pick can change the times on offer: a larger vehicle takes longer, so if you go back and switch it, the portal refreshes the times for the new length.
Choose where the work happens
Select Location lists your addresses as street, city and picks the first. An address is required — the technician needs somewhere to go, and tax is worked out for that place.
To add one, choose Add a new address:
- Fill in Street address, City, State and ZIP code. All four are required.
- Under Type, say what kind of place it is — Service, Billing, Home, Work or Other — and give it a Label (optional) if that helps you tell it apart later.
- Tick Use this address for billing if invoices should be addressed there, and Make this my primary address of this type if it should be picked first from now on.
- Choose Save. The new address is selected for this booking and stays on your account.
Your addresses are yours to manage: you can also add, edit or remove them from Your details under your name at the top right.
Notes and text messages
- Notes (optional) — anything the technician should know: a gate code, where the car is parked, a stain to look at. The business sees it with the booking.
- The box that begins Text me appointment confirmations, reminders, and service updates is your permission to be texted about this appointment. It is unticked until you tick it; leave it that way if you would rather not get texts. Texts go to the phone number your detailer has for you, and the line beneath the box links the SMS Terms, the Privacy Policy and the Terms of Use.
Good to know
- If you are not signed in, both lists are empty and the step says Sign in to choose your vehicle and service address. — the vehicles and addresses are your account’s. You can still continue to the review step, which asks you to sign in.
- An address with an upcoming visit cannot be removed from your account until that visit is done.
- Your name, email and phone are not asked for here: the booking uses the details on your account.
