We’re looking for 20 founding detailers — and we’ll move your business over for free

Wax Stak is almost ready. Before we open it to everyone, we want 20 detailing businesses to run it first — with us beside them, and with a deal that makes the switch worth it. Here’s what founding businesses get, what we ask in return, and how to get one of the spots.

Who it’s for. Mobile detailers and detail shops that want to run their whole business in one place — booking, scheduling and routes, quotes and invoices, card payments, Field, a crew app that works without signal, and bookkeeping — in English, in Spanish, or both. Founding spots are for businesses on our Pro or Business plans, because those are the shops that will use all of it.

What founding businesses get

• We move your business over, free. Send us what you have — a spreadsheet, a QuickBooks export, or an export from the app you use now — and we bring over your customers, their vehicles, your services and prices, and your upcoming appointments. Then we set things up with you on a call: prices by vehicle size, add-ons, your service area and hours, deposits and reminders.
• Card payments from day one. We walk you through getting set up to take cards, including Tap to Pay on iPhone with no card reader to buy. We open the founding spots only once card payments are live, so nobody starts without them.
• Your booking page and your crew. We build your booking site’s welcome and About Us pages with you, and help get Field onto each tech’s phone — in the language each of them prefers.
• Your founding year. Your first 3 months of subscription are free. For the rest of your first year, you pay half. After that, the standard price.
• Priority support for that year. When you contact us from the app, founders go to the front of the line.
• A direct say in what we build. You talk to the people building Wax Stak, not a ticket queue, and founders’ requests weigh first when we decide what comes next.

What it costs, in plain numbers

Here’s the founding year on each plan, at our standard prices (see pricing):

The discount is on the subscription. Card payments are at each plan’s standard rate: 2.85% + 30¢ on Pro and 2.75% + 30¢ on Business, under the 2.9% + 30¢ most processors charge. Charging a card a customer saved with you costs a little more — every rate is on the pricing page. You can move between Pro and Business during your founding year and keep the offer.

The honest part

You’ll be among the first businesses running on Wax Stak, so you may run into rough edges. That’s the trade, and it’s why founders get priority support: when something gets in your way, tell us from the app and we’ll be on it. In return we ask three things:

1. Run your real jobs through Wax Stak — that’s how we find what to fix.
2. Take a 30-minute feedback call in your first month.
3. Tell us what breaks or slows you down, as it happens.

We’ll ask whether we can share your work, and later for an honest review — both optional, and neither has anything to do with the offer.

How to get a spot

1. Join the founding list at waxstak.com/beta. It takes about a minute.
2. Get your invite. We send invites in the order people joined, a few businesses a week, as soon as card payments are live, so each one gets a proper setup.
3. Start. Founding spots go to the first 20 businesses to start on Pro or Business. When they’re gone, we’ll say so here.

Frequently asked questions

Is card processing free during the founding year?

No. The founding discount is on the subscription; card payments are at your plan’s standard rate.

Can I be a founder on the Starter plan?

No. Founding spots are for Pro and Business, where the whole product is. Starter businesses are welcome on the list and start with our standard 30 days free.

What happens after my first year?

Your plan continues at its standard price, and support returns to standard. We’ll remind you before your discount ends.

What do I need for the migration?

Whatever you have: a spreadsheet, a QuickBooks export, or an export from your current app. If it’s on paper, we’ll work out the fastest way in on the setup call.

Can my team use Wax Stak in Spanish?

Yes. Each person picks their own language, and each customer gets texts, emails and invoices in theirs.
